For the price point, this dress is beautiful and reasonably well made. I purchased it for a 20's-themed murder mystery, but honestly, it's nice enough to wear for a formal occasion or gala. I purchased a large (my measurements are approximately 40-31-42) and it's a tad large on the top and waist, but I can easily tailor that. I'm 5'5" and even with my highest platform heels I'll need to shorten it. I'm really thrilled with it and I'll look for other "serious" occasions to wear it!
